We hope to grow our umpiring fraternity to ensure as many games can be covered as possible while promoting a safe, enjoyable, and fair competition for all.

You know your clubs best, and with your help, we can identify prospective umpires to participate in a basic umpiring course. They will be introduced to our umpire development pathway, with opportunities to become accredited and earn additional income.

Ideal candidates for the Green Shirt Umpire Program will demonstrate patience, respect, and passion, as well as an interest in officiating and game management. Expressions of Interest are welcome for anyone 17 years and above, whether it be junior or senior players, club volunteers, parents, or spectators.

We are holding the next training sessions on Thursday 13th July at La Trobe University Baseball Club (Ganbu Djila Multipurpose Sports Field).
